1) Smoking is not allowed; keep your speed limit below 80 km; avoid using cell phones or alcohol consumption while driving! Do not leave valuable items visibly in the car this prevents damage to the car and unfortunate declarations. Don’t sit on the seats with wet clothing.
2) If the renter received the vehicle clean, it must return to GOGO CAR RENTAL clean. Otherwise ANG 25 (or ANG 35 for SUV’S) cleaning fee will be charged. In case of EXCESSIVELY dirty conditions that require extra cleaning or deodorizing. This includes, but is not limited to, spillage of fluids, food, vomit, other stains, and unpleasant odors including cigarette smoke. The cleaning fee will be ANG150,-.
3) If the car key is locked inside the vehicle, ANG 25 will be charged to bring the spare key. If a remote car key is lost or damaged, ANG 150, – will be charged to program a new key.
4) If a tire is damaged, in all cases, the cost of tire repairs or replacement is at the renter’s expense. Even if the renter has paid for the Full Coverage Insurance.
5) Late return: within 6 hours of late return, you will be charged for ANG 25 as late fee. Later than 6 hours of late return, a full day of rental will be charged.
6) By returning the car within the agreed period, no refund will be given. In the event of non-return of the car, all costs related to the recovery of the car are at the renter’s expense.
7) Prolongation: you must notify the Car Rental at least TWO (2) days before the return date for extension. Failure to do so may lose the right for extension. In case of extension, all terms and conditions of this agreement will remain in force, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the parties.
8) The renter has a right to replacement transport if further driving with the rented vehicle is impossible, as a consequence of a defect to the vehicle. No extra cost will be charged even the replacement transport has a different price. In case of unavailability of a replacement transport, the renter shall receive a refund for the whole amount of unused days.
9) The renter indemnifies GOGO CAR RENTAL against all liability for damage and/or injuries caused to the goods and/or persons transported by the rented vehicle. In addition, costs relating to damage and/or injury caused to the counterparty that exceed the insured sum of ANG 150.000,- are at the renter’s expense.
10) In case of an accident caused by the renter or damages to the vehicle is unknown, and the renter has NOT chosen for the Full Coverage Insurance, the cost of any repair of the vehicle up to ANG 10000, – is at the renter’s expense.
11) In case of an accident caused by the renter or damages to the vehicle is unknown, and the renter has PAID for the Full Coverage Insurance, the cost of any repair of the vehicle is LIMITED at the renter’s expense of a maximum of the deductible amount. This deductible amount applies per event. (Per case).
12) Only the person(s) that are listed on this Rental Agreement may drive the vehicle. GoGo Car Rental has the right to confiscate the vehicle immediately without refund of the prepaid rent and deposit when found out an unauthorized driver is operating the vehicle.
13) GOGO CAR RENTAL has the right to terminate this agreement at any time without judicial intervention, if in our opinion the vehicle is not carefully used by the renter or an unauthorized driver. Any dispute which may arise under this Agreement can be discussed at the Court “Eerste Aanleg” in Curaçao.
All Risk Insurance
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) & Theft Protection (TP) Agreement
CDW & TP is optional. It’s not required to accept CDW & TP in order to rent a vehicle in Curacao. However it’s highly recommended since all our vehicles are insured against “Third Party” only (NOT All-Risk). By accepting the CDW & TP coverage, the renter’s maximum liability for the damage or loss of the vehicle will be LIMITED to the Deductible amount.

If the renter accepts the CDW & TP, subject to the actions that invalidate CDW & TP listed.
1) CDW is voided under any of the following circumstances:
(a) intentional, willful, wanton, or reckless conduct (texting while driving),
(b) operation of the vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol,
(c) drove the vehicle faster than permitted speed limit,
(d) use of the vehicle to tow or push anything,
(e) operation of the vehicle on an unpaved road if the damage or loss is a direct result of the road or driving conditions, or
(f) used for commercial purposes,
(g) used in connection with conduct that could be properly charged as a felony,
(h) involved in a speed test or contest or in driver training activity,
(i) operated by a person other than the authorized driver under this “Rental Agreement”.
2) Theft Protection (TP) is voided if the vehicle disappears as a result of your negligence, with your involvement or that of an unauthorized driver. You will be held responsible for all the cost of the damage. In the event of disappearance and/or vandalism, you must immediately inform the local police and provide GOGO CAR RENTAL with a copy of your statement. If the vehicle is stolen, you must also immediately return the keys to GOGO CAR RENTAL.
